Am Augarten Vienna: a Special Feed-Back

Beware: the writer, me, is Italian. So please do not matter the macaronic way to say things and consider mistakes poetry!

The reservation has been made via Venere.com. Still nobody knows why we did pay as low as €69, 00 per night in Am Augarten Hotel. But we did! So, because of our great and cheap experience, and because--fortunately--our Italian culture we are not use to leave tips, we would thank the Vienna Hotel posting our special feed-back.

Outside

Am Augarten is very easy to reach by car. On weekends parking outside the building is free, but from Monday to Friday parking is allowed not more than two hours. That is because the hotel is located very close to down town. So to park the car without have any problem with Vienna cops, a guarded parking, that coasted us €4, 00 for three days, is located at ten minutes walk from the hotel, at the entrance of the Prater on a Shell petrol station. In front of Am Augarten you have a tram stop and a tobacconist who sells public transportation tickets.

From Inside

Even tough in the room were 4 beds, there was enough space to let our two kids play inside. The room was also very clean. The hotel had the breakfast included in the price and more there was a leisure room with free Internet and free cake and coffee. Those picture you can see on Venere.com, represent the real appearance.

Around the City

Vienna is were easy, fast and cheap to visit by using public transportation. On the main metro stations and on the tobacconists, tickets are available to travel for: one, two, three and five days. Just check the solution fit you best by asking the seller.

The Best Food

Of course according to our point of view, the best way to get food considering the quality and the price was to enter the door of the two Sea Food restaurants located in downtown (zone 1). The dishes you can find there are row and cooked fish based, but the king of convenience dishes are those already prepared without the need to weight them such row salmon and tuna wrapped with salad, or such kids' menus. Pasta, rice and fish selling at weight are as expensive as seductive.

The Best and the Saddest Place We Took a Look (Not Considering Arts)

The place we liked more, especially our kids, has been the garden located one stop after the UNO City Metro. The place less nice too see has ben Karlsplatz. That public square close to downtown circle, was very attractive for the buildings, but very sad to see for its high rate of drugs addicted.
